Ithaca Laundry — World Homeless Day 2025 Campaign
Role: Direction, Cinematography, Editing
Client: Ithaca Laundry
Year: 2025
In September 2025, I collaborated with Ithaca Laundry for their campaign for World Homeless Day — a project rooted in dignity, visibility, and human connection.
As part of the campaign, I edited a series of four videos: one main film bringing together three personal stories, alongside three shorter standalone videos, each focusing on an individual journey.
The project centers on people who have experienced homelessness, each carrying a different story, yet sharing a common thread: resilience.
Mr. Giannis, 80 years old, found himself struggling after personal loss and health challenges disrupted his life.
Georgia’s journey: as a mother, her determination to create a safe environment for her child became the driving force behind her transformation. Through Ithaca, she not only rebuilt her own life but also supported others facing similar challenges.
Giorgos experienced a sudden collapse of his life, leading him to the streets. At Ithaca, the first and most crucial step was simple: being heard. Through counseling and support, he began rebuilding his confidence and reclaiming his independence.
Rather than portraying homelessness as a single narrative, the film highlights its many faces — fear, loss, and isolation, but also strength, dignity, and the possibility of new beginnings.
This project reflects Ithaca’s mission: ensuring that no one remains invisible.
